I am retired from public relations/marketing/media relations -- a high-anxiety career that I don't miss. Though retired, I write for four local newspapers. Articles, technical publications and stories I have authored have been printed and/or published in local and national magazines. A media industry related piece I wrote several years ago received international honors and subsequent speaking engagements on both the east and west coasts of the United States. I have also received national honors for my work in public relations. I submit this bit of trivia in response to member queries. .....What's more important is the here and now ...
