buying and selling, spending time with family especially my granchildren, gardening, reading, researching.

I have been buying and selling for over 20 years having had units in antique centers and standing at all the major U.K. fairs such as Newark, Ardingly, Swinderby etc., although I am not an expert my knowledge is varied, my favourite things are paintings and prints, I love vintage bookplates, my favourite illustrators include Dulac, Tarrant, Kay Nielson, Maxfield Parrish and Arthur Rackham,I also love linens and textiles, fine china and pottery...I am a committed re-cycler.

I prefer Paypal but also accept cheques made out in U.K. sterling, postal orders in U.K. sterling,payment on collection, I do not accept other currencies unless paid through Paypal because of high conversion charges.I never accept cash through the post.

I charge postage/shipping plus a small amount towards the cost of bubble wrap etc., I pride myself on safe and secure packing..my feedback says it all!!

I will always accept returns if I have grossly miss-described items but cannot accept responsibility for items damaged during shipment...I would never send a parcel until I am sure it can withstand the rigours of the journey! Items must be returned in the original packaging within 14 days of receipt. If a parcel goes missing I will always help in the event of a claim. I always obtain proof of posting.

I check my emails every day and I do try to dispatch within 24 hours but I suffer from a spinal disease and severe osteo arthritis which can sometimes cause a delay, I will always let you know if I can't dispatch on time..if your purchase requires urgent dispatch please let me know.
