eBay My World: 7jimmys( 869)

Hi everyone. I'm a stay at home Mum (through illness not choice!) of 2 children, one 'grown up' one not. To keep myself amused and occupied, whenever my illness permits, I sell our unwanted items on ebay.

Everything I sell on here was owned by myself or members of my family and is in very good condition, if it has any blemishes they will be pointed out in the listing, I only sell what I would like to receive myself.

Just recently I've had the odd buyer who doesn't pay and doesn't inform me that they're not going to, resulting in me having to open a dispute on ebay. I'm only selling my family's unwanted items so once bid on it would be nice if they're paid for and I can post them - within 7 days, I believe is ebay's policy. So, please, if you don't want the item then don't bid. Thank you.

My postage and packaging charges are: The actual postage cost (obviously), plus 55p for packaging and handling. This remains the same no matter what size your item is - I know some of you will think it not fair if you've only bought a small item, on the other hand it's very cheap if you've bought an item which needs lots of packaging. However, I believe I package my items carefully and I buy: bubble wrap, tissue, plastic bags, postage bags and padded envelopes, none of it cheap nowadays, I will occasionally reuse tissue paper and sometimes put items in used boxes if needs be. Also I have to rely on others to either take me in a car to the post office or go for me. So I did a rough calculation and came up with 55p per item, I will and very often do waver any costs I can if multiple items are bought and postage isn't too high. If anybody is not happy with this then please don't bid. I try to get to the P.O. the day after I receive cleared payment and I always obtain proof of postage.

Sorry no returns, I'm not a business and only sell items that I consider worthy of resale, size and measurements are usually included in my listings, or if you're not sure, then please ask. I also include lots of photos so you can get a clear idea of what the item looks like.

As I always obtain proof of postage, if an item does happen to go astray, a claim can be made from the post office 15 days after the expected delivery date.

I will always send my buyer an email letting them know as soon as I have posted an item, so please check your in boxes :-)
