SHIMANO PARALLAX FRONT Quick Release 32 hole WHEEL HUB (100mm OLN) HB-MC12 New

Quality Control Failure
I like Shimano hubs - I have several. However, this one was tightened so excessively that the spindle (axle) would barely rotate. I slackened the cones - which were tightened solidly together with the lock nut - and it seems nice and smooth. However, I do worry that the cones or balls will have been permanently damaged by the over tightening and may soon wear out.
XLC BIKE A-HEAD HEADSET PLUG 22 - 23mm DESIGNED FOR CARBON FORKS, REUSABLE

Just right for my steel fork
I made a bike frame with a threadless 1" steel fork. I found I couldn't get a star nut to fit it so this headset plug was just what I needed. It fits fine and can easily be removed without problem. Worth knowing. Great seller sent it quickly by the way.

Handy product works for me
These fitted easily, hold my cables snugly and there are enough of them to lose the odd one if I were to catch the cable on something. Well worth it.
