Business InformationHistory/background
Been running an eBay shop for over two years now. I saw a need for decent used cameras on eBay as most of the ones I was then buying were frankly not as good as they ought to be!
Payment policy
I accept PayPal, Postal Orders, and personal cheques. All Postal orders must be made out to GBP and cheques must be drawn on a sterling account. I only accept direct credit transfer from established business customers. So please don't ask.
Delivery information
Items are normally sent first-class or air mail. Insurance where shown may be optional, or compulsory. If compulsory it is not negotiable.
Postage may be discounted for multiple items bought the same business day, or by prior arrangement. However, postal charges are calculated by refernce to current Royal Mail rates, and incude a reasonable charge for packaging, therefore discounts may be modest.
To obtain a postal discount, do not pay until you have received a combined item invoice, as it is not possible to combine payments after payment has been made. Due to abuse I no longer permit buyers to combine their own invoices.
Return policy
Because of the mixture of new, used, and refurbished items sold, the Return policy varies for each listing. But in general new items are sold on a seven day no-quibble return, and used items are sold with a service guarantee. (ie if it breaks, I will fix it.) Used items sold as scrap or for spare parts only, carry no guarantee beyond listing errors.
No guarantee affects your statutory rights.

Pricing policy
My prices are calculated to take account of servicing and refurbishing carried out before offering the item for sale. For some cameras this can be quite time consuming, but the work is necessary in order to ensure as much as possible that you get a camera in as good working condition.
Many of the cameras etc sold on eBay are sold by non-specialists and are bought from general sales items for re-sale by general traders. Items bought this way are often probate clearance items, and may have been sitting in a damp warehouse for several months. The general trader does not have the time or skills required to make a good assesment of the camera sold or to correct any faults found.
These cameras can be bought quite cheaply and rightly so, as there is often considerable work required before they can be put to use, and many cannot be repaired in any case.
Therefore the cameras I supply are a little more dear than cameras offered by general traders. They are worth every penny.
