Ametech products have been sold in the UK since 2003. Most of our products are sourced from the USA and have been tried, tested and on sale in the States for many years without warranty problems. We have used our main product, Restore, ourselves in the States for over 20 years and in the UK during the last 8 years and we have every confidence in its claims. All our products are backed by a money back guarantee. We pride ourselves on customer service and are happy to talk to customers who wish to discuss any engine or lubrication problem with us.
Payment policy
We prefer payment by PayPal - please send your payment to americantechno@aol.com. We also accept cheques or postal orders made payable to Engine Restore UK Limited and take credit/debit card payments over the telephone - please call 01728 726620 during office hours. Delivery information
We ship by Royal Mail and Parcelforce in the UK. Royal Mail do not guarantee their delivery times for Recorded mail & even though most customers receive their parcels within 1-5 working days, sometimes there will be delay, which is outside our control. Royal Mail do not consider a parcel lost until 15 working days have elapsed since posting. You will receive an email via eBay when your parcel has been dispatched. If the parcel does not arrive within 7 days of posting please contact us. You will be required to sign for the parcel on receipt, so please make sure someone will be around during the day, at the address you have given, to receive the parcel. If no-one is in, a card will be left asking you to pick-up from the local sorting office/depot.
Our postage and packing charges are just that - postage AND packing. We take care to pack our customers parcels well using professional packing materials & try to dispatch daily, Monday to Friday.
Return policy
Refunds will be given on unused, unopened items returned in the original packaging within 14 working days of receipt. We do not refund the return postage. If any item arrives at your door damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and keep any packaging as we may be required to produce it to the carriers as proof of damage in transit. If any tools purchased are found to be faulty in use, we will accept them for return within 30 days of the purchase date in accordance with the SILVERLINE TOOLS guarantee. The standard SILVERLINE guarantee is just 30 days; if you wish to take advantage of the SILVERLINE extended guarantee (3 years on powered tools and lifetime on hand tools) you must register online at www.silverlinetools.com within 30 days of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our Money Back Guarantee
Ametech RESTORE & MPC products are backed by our 90 day money back guarantee. We promise to refund your money if you are not happy with the results after 1000 miles (or 20 hours) of use. This guarantee applies to the first unit (single can or bottle) of any product purchased, providing it has been used in accordance with the instructions provided. If you are dissatisfied with any product please call the Ametech Technical Helpline on 0844 477 9467 in the first instance for advice. A series of questions will be asked to validate your claim, so please be prepared to give as much detail as possible. If you have purchased more than one unit, we will refund your money on the first unit and you can return any unused product unopened, again within 90 days, for a refund. Return postage costs are not refundable. This Guarantee applies to one unit purchase per product only and one refund request per lifetime, individual, family or address. Refund claims for multiple product purchases do not apply

Engine Restore UK Limited are registered in the UK for VAT. Our VAT registration number is 922 3334 52. VAT receipts are issued automatically with every purchase.
