It's a lid for a pan, it fits exactly and doesn't play tunes when doing it.
3 of 4 found this helpful Not sure why I'm asked "Is the sound quality good?" and "Is it comfortable?", to those I have to say "no", it just sits there doing its job, not a sound from it, maybe that is good. And comfortable? Well, I found the handle somewhat painful when using it as a cushion and it kept falling off as a hat.
But those strange questions to one side this does exactly what you would expect for a glass lid on a pot. It lets you saute/braise meat before adding further ingredients and really should be included in with the pot in the first place. But that isn't the lids fault.
