We are fourth generation professional aucitoneers with a warehouse in Whitefield, Manchester. We sell surplus assets normally on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners and Lenders, following liquidation of company assets, hence the cheap prices we offer

Because of the nature of instructions, we get a huge variety of offerings including motor vehicles, stock, machinery and business assets, etc.

We dont buy stock, we act only as commissioned agents.

Online sales have been increasing at a ferocious rate in recent years and have had a dramatic impact on both industry and society. Initially, we considered this as a threat to our company. In fact, we noticed that many purchasers at our traditional auctions were buying Lots to then resell them online. We were convinced this should be a benefit our clients should derive. We have adopted a comprehensive inventory management tool which allows us to schedule and control strategic integration with online marketplaces including eBay, eBay stores, Froogle, Amazon and Yahoo, as well as our own online store (www.ASSETtrail.com), backed up by the necessary offline infrastructure. We take payments to paypal@assettrail.com, or you can pay by cheque/postal order. If you are coming to collect, you must bring cash or have already sent cleared funds.

We have a variety of shipping options, with a shipping calculator included on each page for you to enter your locaiton and preferences. Multiple purchases can be combined at our checkout and most shipping options are weight based (e.g. ParcelForce is same price up to 30kg) so if you add to your order then you can dilute the shipping costs. Buyers are welcome to collect from our warehouse in Whitefield, Manchester where they can view any goods before bidding.

We do not accept returns for items sold by auction format. All items are sold as untested because we sell on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners who will not sell with any warrantee. We do however welcome you to come and view goods before bidding, and also include lots of images to help you assess the condition. When we remove assets from insolvent companies, they are working prior removal.
