4.99 postage for a cd case size item that weighs about 1 oz only for the seller to ask for a month to deliver after I'd purchased & paid. Items advertised on his shop are 200 miles away apparantly and he needs 4 weeks just to ship 😆. Maybe remove the stuff from Ebay if you can't actually ship it out or mark yourself as on holiday. Between houses he said, yeah nice, but I just want my fan grille mate. He then issued a refund over night without warning. 😤 Long, boring and disappointing!🥱

Amcron (crown) DC300A MKI.5 power amplifier.

Classic studio amplifier
Crown amplifiers were branded amcron in markets outside of the USA. This was due to disputes with various european companies over registered trademarks. Amcron amplifiers are exactly the same as crown amplifiers apart from the name on the front panel decal. The crown dc300a was introduced in the late 60's and was produced well into the 90's. One of the first mass produced reliable power amplifiers. Found throughout the world from submarines to home hi fi. The first models had a silver brushed front panel and the large black volume knobs after approximately 7 different pcb revisions late models were fitted with ioc indicators that actually compare input and output signals and light an led on the front panel if any difference is sensed. After several different main boards and modifications the final dc300a's had a rare satin black front panel and redesigned main board. We have a huge amount of parts for these and 25 years experience servicing and repairing them. Expect to pay anything between £200.00 and £600.00 depending on age and condition. We will continue to support this product for the foreseeable future.
