All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I have played and collected guitars for more than 30 years. Playability is of utmost importance, though degree of originality is with vintage guitars, too. I strive for as complete and as honest a disclosure of condition as I am able for each guitar.

Business InformationDelivery information
I pack/ship your guitar to you the same or next business day that your payment clears, unless otherwise notified. Guitars are very well-packed. Extra attention is given to the guitar inside the case. Every guitar is packed by me personally. I take great care of your purchase and hand-deliver to shipper. Domestic shipments are fully insured. International shipments are insured for maximum allowed value if less than price paid. I have shipped to 20+ foreign countries with zero damage or loss! Have confidence that your guitar will arrive as advertised or better.
Domestic: USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail. UPS available also. Canada, most of Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand: USPS Priority Mail International where 108 inch package size limit is OK. Some countries, Australia in particular, only allow a guitar-sized box with Global Express Guaranteed, a MUCH more expensive service. Price is very sensitive to exact package dimensions. Average range for GXG to Australia $325-$450.

The Facts About Shipping to Australia
UPS/Fedex cost more than USPS GXG. USPS Priority Mail International limits package size to 42 inches in length and a grand total of 79 inches counting the girth. There is no guitar and case (I sell) packed in a box that will fit those dimensions. So how do they do it? Many US shippers don't even know that they are doing anything wrong while many others know exactly what they are doing and get away with it. They print postage themselves and label the package themselves and drop the package off at the USPS where it is simply scanned and shipped. USPS only measures when the package is shipped at the retail window, never for prepaid packages that are dropped-off. There is no postage amount or any words written on the self-printed label, just bar codes, so know one at the USPS could ever realize that the amount was wrong and that it doesn't qualify for Priority shipping. This has been confirmed by US eBay sellers. One told me he'd sell 75% fewer guitars if he didn't do it this way. I won't.
