Hi, Great guide on tyres. I need to get away from 16" rims on a 300ZX I can't find any decent tyres (Pirelli or Michelin) to fit them. Do you have a tyre recommendation I thought about going up to a 17" rim anj just lowering the aspect ratios from 50 to 45 on the fronts and 45 to 40 on the rear is that about right?? Also what very plain rims would you recommend. Thanks.

p.s. sorry to bother you again but forgot to ask - trying also to find out the pcd - said most cars are 100 which i thought meant 100 mm (10 cm) but the spoke diameters are much smaller than 10 cm each so am i measuring the wrong thing?!!! thank you

hi, thanks for info but still confused, have a polo 1.9diese cl 1996; tyres specs are 175/65 R 13 80 T. wheel specs are 5.5 J x 13, o/s:43. 4 spoke. hard to find many 13 inch so may have go up to 14, if i do then what tyre and wheel spec am i looking for as looking for either alloys + wheel package or steel wheels and tyre package - just don't want to misbuy but there don't seem to be any matches so what exactly has to match and what doesn't? as v. confused! thank you
