If you want the very best......
3 of 3 found this helpful Merkur blades, from Solingen, Germany are rightly regarded as the finest blades you can buy. Paired with a quality, Gillette-type safety razor, you'll get a shave that's so close it knocks the competition into the rubbish bin. I discovered Merkur a few yeas ago; now, I wouldn't use anything else. I can't even remember the last time I cut or nicked myself, using these razor blades.
Yes, they cost a little more, but they stay sharp for much longer. I cannot recommend these blades high enough.
