A Great Disappointment
The remote is a bit flimsy but there are two major difficulties in use.
1. The mute switch was too sensitive as it was hard to get a steady response.
2. Although I can’t prove it, I lost all my recorded channels, which I put down to this remote, in that I could not get the channel tuning to work until I tried another remote which I was lucky to have at hand.

Useful with new Macs
One needs this sorts of thing with new Apple products, as the company have dropped Ethernet ports on their latest notebooks. It keeps connectivity going for your older kit.

Apple at it's best
3 of 3 found this helpful This MacBook replaced an iMac as I needed the mobility. The retina display is amazing as is the colour renditioning. I am an Apple enthusiast and view most of their products through rose tinted specs, but this little machine is a real beauty. I have the 256gB version, so memory is no problem. Startup takes but seconds, as does shutting down, so you do not need to put it to sleep overnight which conserves battery life. Being solid state, it is silent and cool running. The build quality is perfect; it is rigid and sturdy.The Apple applications and programmes are all pretty good too, and you do not have the constant task of running security updates as with rival OS.
