The young coaches and children from Wallasey Gymnastic Club took it upon themselves to arrange various events to raise the funds to purchase a wheelchair for a young lady who applied to the N.H.S for one and was knocked back (cutbacks was the excuse used) including asking their own schools to get involved by hosting a none uniform day or other events/donations ie; Wirral walk etc; They arranged a social night to raise funds by getting a social club free of charge and got the services of the Guardians along with others including a international magician, solo artist with every penny raised going to help this worth while cause ,with the help of peter at brighter futures and his amazing team she now has a fantastic wheelchair giving her independence cant thank you enough Pete Jim

We bought an eneurisis alarm for our daughter and we're delighted with it. We only paid £12.50 and it's an absolute bargain especially as similar alarms sell elsewhere for well over £50! The alarm battery unit is slightly larger than some of the other alarms on the market BUT it makes no difference whatsoever as it easily attaches to PJ bottoms and has caused no discomfort to our daughter and after using it for only a few days we are well on our way to resolving her bed wetting problems - we put the sensor between 2 pairs of knickers with a pull-up over the top - that way the alarm wakes my daughter and she receives the correct sensations but we don't have to keep changing the bedding! We have mentioned the alarm to the nurses at the children's outpatients clinic that we attend and have been asked to give them details as they are delighted to hear that there are affordable alarms available for parents who want to purchase them. i bought a pillow lifter ( serena ) for my wife on monday 17th jan, got it this morning wednesday 19th jan. thats fantastic. have tested it on the spare bed, it appears to be a better standard than the one we are replacing, but will not know more until we install it on the main bed. but we are really pleased with both the item and the service given, absolutely superb thank you. gary taylor.
