Superior Customer Service
Customers are essential and at the heart of our business.
Service and product quality are of paramount importance.
Simply because we operate our business online and therefore remotely from our customers does not mean that the service received should be any less personal.
We want to know our customers and know your needs. Only through this can we source products you require and make them easily available to you.
In order to continue to ensure that our service is meeting all expectations we rely heavily on our customer feedback. Unfortunately, we've had many customers not leave feedback, which obviously we consider to be a positive (as there was nothing concerning that needed to be raised with us) but equally this lack of feedback reduces the message that our other customers and potential customers receive about our service.
Therefore, from September 2012 we have introduced a policy of only providing our customers with feedback upon receipt of feedback from our customers.
Environmental Awareness
Being conscious of the environment and the impact that the way we live today, especially the way businesses operate, can have on the world around us we have made a conscious effort to minimise our impact wherever we are able to.
We purchase products in the largest quantities we can afford to, ensuring we minimise the impact of delivery.
Our boxes, packing peanuts (those polystyrene things that protect your items), packing pillows (the inflatable bags that we sometimes use to protect your items), even our business cards are all biodegradable or recycled/recyclable - or both.
We try to use larger fulfilment companies to deliver our products wherever possible as they have larger networks and this results in fewer dedicated journeys.
Beyond the labels that we have to print to be able to fulfill orders we try to run a paperless environment by operating our whole business online.
Even the coffee we use in our office comes in recyclable bags (and is fairtrade too!)
