My official shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays, but the truth is that we ship almost daily, including weekends and many holidays. We have access to a 24/7/365 post office.

I do my dead-level best to err on the side of caution with description. If an item is in excellent condition, I'll state that it's in good condition. If there's an ink mark on page 78, I'll point that out and many times will show a photo of that ink mark. But I do make mistakes and am always happy to work with my customers to make sure they're happy. Failure to read the description, however, is not an excuse to send me a snippy email.

Before leaving us less than five stars for shipping, please understand that shipping involves more than the cost of postage. I don't promise you a pretty package, but I do guarantee that your purchase will be well packed. We assume that our precious cargo will be drop kicked across the country and pack accordingly. Items are first protected with plastic sleeves. I layer paper items with cardboard. Fragile items are padded with bubble and/or foam wrap and usually are double boxed. Our son works in a body shop and saves packing material. We recycle foam and bubble wrap that would otherwise be tossed. I get cardboard fabric bolts at the fabric store and cut them to size to protect paper items--brochures and softcover books and booklets, patterns. For this, I charge a nominal handling fee of about one dollar.
