All About Me

What everyone should know about me

I absolutely love books! If reading was a full time occupation I would never leave work - I would actually live in my office.

Things I sell

Books - Historical Romance, Popular Fiction, Childrens Fiction. DVDs Womens Clothes Stationary Music CDs and Soundtracks

Things I buy

Mainly books and dvds. I went through a whole phase of buying historical romance novels but unfortunately I couldn't find many to buy in Australia at least not by the authors I wanted, so I had to overcome my aversion to paying international postage fees and order them from the States. I think I actually spent more on postage than I did on books - sad but true :)

Favourite Books

First and foremost - A Gathering Light by Jennifer Donnelly. I read it when I was 14 and it remains one of my all-time fav novels. Also the The Tea Rose Trilogy by Jennifer Donnelly. Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. My taste in books is extensive, so anything by Tracy Chevalier, Alice Hoffman, Anne Rice, Jane Austen, J K Rowling, Haruki Murakami, Libba Bray, Lisa Kleypas and Henry James. The list goes on and on....

Favourite Movies

I have too many and it changes from week to week :) Some include: Across the Universe, Good Will Hunting, White Oleander, Stage Beauty, Walk the Line, Finding Neverland, Donnie Darko, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Holiday, Requiem for a Dream + many more. I'm also a big fan of period films, such as the Austen adaptations by BBC, North and South, Jane Eyre (Toby Stephens!!), basically anything set in the 19th century and produced by the BBC.

Favourite Music/Bands

Also changes from week to week, but the bands I am lovin' right now include: Snow Patrol, The Fray, 30 Seconds From Mars, Jimmy Eat World, Paramore and Jack's Mannequin.

Favourite TV Shows

Definitely the Gilmore Girls series, also - Smallville, Flight of the Conchords, Californication, BBC's Robin Hood and Merlin, ROME, Deadwood, Veronica Mars, Moonlight, True Blood, Vampire Diaries, Mad Men, Everwood... just to name a few :o)

Been a member since 07, and started selling in 08. I'm a big shopper online, especially for secondhand books, so I think eBay and Oztion are awesome!

I prefer Paypal but also accept Bank Deposit.

Delivery information

I combine postage for multiple purchases, the usual prepaid satchels of 500g and 3kg. Each listing has the details. Sorry but I don't do LOCAL PICKUP.
