eBay My World: china-heaven( 818)

I sold on e-bay 5/6 years ago and much has changed.I inherited my mum's collection so I am trying to maintain the auction spirit of e-bay and sell with low starting prices and no reserves. If it is successful then I hope to become a regular seller

I used to work in finance but gave up to look after my mum who sadly passed away last year. I have been collecting antiques for about 10 years and started selling on e-bay about 6 years ago part-time when I was a carer. I think it is great fun but it has changed and I see that lots of items now have a 'Buy It Now' price so you don't get a chance to bid. As a collector I find it hard work when items have reserves because I don't know if I have a chance or not so I have put everything on with low starting prices and no reserves. Good quality things usually sell (she says with her fingers crossed) so I am happy to take a chance and give someone the opportunity to find a bargain. I inherited a lot of china from my mum so I will see how it goes and if they sell for nothing I will have to think again. I am happy for people to telephone me if they have any questions.

I accept cheque, postal order and Paypal. If you can't pay within 7 days or so it is no problem just let me know. We are all struggling with money these days and it is awful to lose an item you want because you won't have the money for a week or two so I have no problem with payment times.

I do my best to keep postage charges reasonable. As I am not a business I have to buy bubble wrap, paper and sometimes post office boxes which are quite expensive. If there is any excess postage after packaging costs then I will send it back to you via Paypal.

What is most important to me is that you are happy with your purchase. I have bought a few Doulton figures on e-bay that I am sure were restored but I couldn't prove it and was unable to get a refund. If you are not pleased then, whatever the reason, just drop me a line and I will refund the money to you.
