Good to buy second hand but better new ones on the market.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Archos 605 is a decent MP3 player with video capability.
The size is small enough to fit in your pocket but large enough to watch films and video on.
The hard drive of 80gb (size can vary)is definitely large enough to handle most peoples music and films and it is rare you would run out of space.
Te added feature of WiFi is a useful addition being able search Google and other websites. The only problem is on-line video streaming isn't the greatest with the player often not recognising certain formats. Also when typing into Google using the on screen key pad, you cant see what your typing.
The buttons on the side of the player are not really useful as its touch screen.
Battery life is not great and it takes a while to charge, although I brought this second hand so perhaps brand new it would be better.
When you buy this, you then have to purchase additional features like video playing capability, games, TV and WiFi functions which is a little bit of a con.
Overall Its a decent second hand player, there are better brand new ones by Archos which have recently been released but if your after a decent sized player with enough memory for all your music and some films its a decent purchase. If purchasing one on ebay be sure to ask whether it is WiFi and video enabled otherwise when you buy it you will have to buy the aditional features.
