The company began in 1983 from a garage based in Glasgow called Citroen Services. The business continued to grow over the next 10 years and in time became the largest independent Citroen specialist in Scotland. During 1993 we decided to source a number of parts direct from the manufacturers to increase our range of product. Over the next 5 years we continued to work hard to increase our supplier accounts and product knowledge with the view to becoming a major supplier of car parts. By 1998 we had established direct accounts with most manufacturers in France, Spain, Italy and the UK. At this point we decided to form the Company Auto Equip Pieces and move into the UK market. By 1999 AEP had its own warehouse, built strong links with suppliers and formed a strong aftermarket salesforce. From then until now we have continued to grow year by year
