Although I have been an eBay member since 2001, I never really knew what a powerful site Ebay could be. Ebay is still the only website in the world where any person can own and operate their own business. It took me 6 months of reading and researching before I ever wrote my first listing, and I still lost money on each listing I posted. I switched over to using the auctions instead of Buy it Now and things started to look up. I still spend about 4-5 hours a week reading other successful sellers ideas and newsletters as well as monitoring every competitors listing changes. I have always operated my Ebay business by myself with only a small amount of help from my husband. He has written a few custom proprietary software programs that consolidate the different jobs into one fail proof way to singularly handle the vast amount of work involved.

Since Ebay has gone to a paperless payment policy now, we have conformed as well and request that you use paypal exclusively. All credit cards are accepted there as well as checks, called e-checks. If you need to use a Postal money order, I will be happy to work with you on that. Just contact me before bidding.

I ship using all 3 carriers, 70% via UPS, 25% via USPS and 5% via Fedex. Without doubt, your item will ship, at the latest, the business day following completed payment. All 3 carriers use a 3-6 business day estimate for your delivery if ground shipping is requested. All my items have 2 day air available for an extra small fee. There is a 2 business day guarantee when using this service. Your order is also bumped to the head of the line and usually will ship the same day. Not bad for only $3 extra. We warehouse, store and ship all of our items from seven locations throughout the US. But all items are not stored in all locations, so if multiple items are ordered it may require multiple shipments. At this time we only ship to the 48 contiguous states. This means that Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, USVI and Pacific territories, APO and FPO are restricted. This is not by choice, but a requirement from our warehouse and shipping contracts with the carriers.

I have only had 3 returns and they were 100% my fault because I shipped the wrong items. I refunded the complete transaction and reshipped the correct item. My mistakes will not cost you a single penny and I appreciate the same in return if you make the mistake. Whatever the case happens to be, your overall satisfaction is my only concern, because I want you as a return customer for years to come.

Contact through eBay can be a little tricky sometimes. You can always contact me through Ebay message center or ebaysales@clarabells.com. Both go to the same place, so there is no need to duplicate your inquiry. Expect a personalized response very quickly, as I beleive this is this the most important aspect of my business. On the other hand, when I am communicating with you, it is a little different. EBay does not allow my payment confirmation, shipping confirmation or follow up communications to use the eBay message center because of the format the messages are written in. These will be received in your personal email where you receive your Paypal payment confirmation. You may need to check your BULK FOLDER as well because many spam filters do not know who I am. Other than those 3 post-payment messages, all replies from me to your inquiry will be through whatever you have used to write me. If you use Ebay message center then I will also, if you use private email, then I will also.

You are always in control of when you receive your positive feedback. I recommend waiting until the transaction is complete and you are 100% satisfied. Only when you are completely satisfied, you can trigger the eBay system to give you positive feedback by doing the same for me. Within milli-seconds, both of us will have traded positive feedback. Ebay has eliminated the abuse that used to run rampant in the feedback system. Buyers no longer need to worry about being retaliated against by the seller when non-positive feedback is left. We can only leave you positive feedback, period. I always want honest feedback from a buyer, but if for some reason, I have made a mistake which you think warrants neutral or negative feedback, please give me a chance first to make the transaction right. I am only human and will always correct the problem, but I need to know about it first.

The 5 stars in the Detailed Seller Rating are extremely important to me as a seller. The sole reason that I am able to maintain my status, keep my prices low and have listings placed higher than other sellers is because of my DSR score. I do not know of any other Platinum Sellers that have a 4.95/5.0 average DSR rating. I attibute this to educating you on the real facts behind EBay's misleading ratings. It is not based on a 100 point scale like all other rating systems in the free world, for example, 1=poor, 3=average, 5=excellent. Here, 4.2=loss of selling account, 4.65=worldwide average, 4.75=top 10% of all sellers. 4 stars sounds like a great rating if you use ebay's term 'FAST' to describe shipping time, but 5 stars is 'VERY FAST'. But if I shipped every item only 'FAST', I would have a 4.0 average. I would also no longer have a selling account on ebay. 4 stars are simply unexceptable to leave as a rating. So I now, must beg for 5 stars only. Leaving nothing is better than a 4.
