I started Contessas's Boutique in December 2008 initially to sell clothes from my own collection but this soon developed into sourcing great items and selling them on to Ebayers at fab prices! I now list new items every Thursday so there is always something different to look at. I sell ladies' clothes,shoes and accessories (occasionally a few things for the guys too!). All the items I sell are either brand new,worn only a few times or in excellent used condition. Most of my items are from well known designers or high street brands including Karen Millen,Reiss,Ted Baker Morgan,Oasis,Kookai,Jane Norman,Top Shop etc.
Payment policy
Please contact me within 48 hours of the auction end and make payment within 7 days. I accept payment by Paypal, cheque or postal order for UK buyers. I only accept payment by Paypal for international buyers. Please do not send cash in the post. Please note that I will not post your item until I have received cleared funds. If you have any concerns regarding payment please contact me as soon as possible.
Delivery information
The postage cost quoted is the cost to send the item by first class recorded delivery within the UK. If you are an international buyer I will send your item by Royal Mail international signed-for service (this may incur an additional postage charge). This is to ensure that you receive your item as soon as possible and that I am able to trace it in the event that your item is lost in the post. The cost of postage is calculated on the actual weight of the item. I am happy to combine postage or offer other postage discounts if you purchase more than one item. Special delivery is recommended for items with a value over £34 because in the event of any lost items, the maximum refund will be £34.00. All items sent via special delivery are guaranteed with delivery on the next working day (excludes weekends) and are insured up to the value of £500.
Return policy
I will refund the total cost of the item if it is returned to me within 7 days of the delivery date in the condition it was sent to you (ie unworn, labels still attached (if appropriate) etc) together with a brief note detailing the reason for the return. Please obtain proof of postage. I will not refund postage costs if the item is unsuitable.

Delivery and Customer Service
I aim to post your item within 1 or 2 working days following receipt of cleared funds. In the event that I am unable to post your item within this time frame I will make this clear in the auction listing or contact the winning bidder directly. In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your item, please contact me at the contact details above within 7 days and I will try to resolve any issues.
Auctions
All auctions are final. Please do not bid on an item if you are not committed to buying it. If you win an auction and fail to pay for the item in accordance with these terms and conditions (and without contacting me) I may leave negative feedback and raise the issue with Ebay. Feedback is an important part of an Ebay experience for sellers and buyers. I will leave feedback for you once feedback has been left for me. This assures me that you have received the item and you are happy with it.
