Gotta love the Mighty Boosh!
This comedy is imaginative and unique. There's no real explanation to it without getting someone to just sit down, watch it and make up their own mind. The lead characters (and writers) of this fab series could be the only reason to watch this show but you do look forward to what other wacky characters will appear next - Naboo the Shaman being my favourite other character, his deadpan expression and comic timing is excellent. Julian Barratt is brilliant as the boring, nerdy and quite needy Howard Moon and Noel Fielding is perfect as the trendy, cool and happy-go-lucky Vince Noir. In this series the lead characters work in a zoo but somehow end up on magical journeys to other lands as their zoo life seems to be quite boring and samey without dressing up and travelling into other worlds. I like the songs and animation they add to the acting too. I think different people will find it funny for different reasons, the comedy definitely isn't a one size fits all. Everything is random and spacey and that is the reason that makes you either love or hate it - think magical TV marmite! Luckily I loved it and I'm looking forward to buying Series 2 and 3 on DVD.
