Plastic buckles have no place on roof rack tie downs.
These straps are advertised for roof rack use, but they use a plastic buckle.
It doesn't matter how strong they claim they are, plastic is badly affected by the UV in daylight.
These will fail, and I wouldn't want to be in the car behind.
These will fail under load at some stage - there is no "if" because it is basic physics and chemistry - the UV affects the linear bonds between the plastic molecules.
I would hate to see a load come of a car, let's say at 50mph on a motorway: people will be hurt or killed.
No straps for this sort of use should ever be sold with a plastic buckle.

Poor quality and broken
Poor quality. Two of the 4 rackets were bent and broken. Don't waste your money.
