Compact but all the functionality of a full size keyboard and good quality
I really like these keyboards - I first came across them when I was looking for something for our 3 tills as it needed to be smaller than a standard keyboard but still have a numeric keypad. I'm a bit biased anyhow because I really like Logitech stuff, I own 2 of their speaker systems, a 5.1 and a 2.1, 2 of their webcams and I've also ditched all my mice in favour of their trackballs, which are just great - I've also installed those on our 3 till computers as again when you're limited for space it's nice not to be bumping into things with a mouse all the time. Anyhow I digress, sorry - the keyboard is really nice, and well worth the low price they go for - you'll get one for as little as £12.99 if you shop around, but I've also seen them being offered for well over £20 by some of the more money-grabbing stores out there. I think when you're buying something made by Logitech, you can be assured that it will be of decent quality and it will generally work very well, which this keyboard does. I'd recommend them anyone looking for a good quality USB keyboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz
This is a great CPU that's now available at bargain prices, often less than half their original price. The E8400 'Wolfdale' Core is among the last generation of Core 2 Duo and came out in early-to-mid 2008 ( depending on the stepping version) not long before the first Core i7s. Used on an X48/P45/P43/G45-type motherboard it will provide you with a very decently-performing PC - add a decent graphics card into the mix and you would have an excellent budget gaming machine that you could play all the current games with - (you'd obviously need a decent amount of RAM and a good VGA card too) The E8400 is also a great candidate for over-clocking, especially the later EO Stepping version, the SL9BJ model which will go well over 4GHz on air cooling, but it definitely shouldn't be attempted with the standard OEM heatsink, get a decent one first - anyone who has already done any over-clocking will already know this of course. Using an E8400, you could put together a pretty powerful system for either gaming, HTPC or a general family computer for quite a small sum of money when compared with buying all new parts and a latest-generation comparable Core i3/i5 CPU and in terms of performance it wouldn't be very far behind at all.
