Excellent value for money, clear adjustable optics for peanuts and a Mildot reticle to boot
1 of 1 found this helpful I had bought a Hawke scope for £100 more than this but the objective lens was glued in place so it had a poor out of focus image for me and no way of focusing it, this on the other hand can be adjusted in seconds by loosening the lock ring at the front of the scope adjusting the objective to be in focus at the range you want then simply re tightening the lock ring.
The ocular lens is also easily adjusted to ensure a nice crisp reticle, mine is the Mildot which is standard Mil spacing so you can easily use free ballistic software available online to produce very accurate range cards.
I initially used the free mounts which are adequate for a recoilless pcp, not sure they'd stay put on a lively springer. The thing is once you start looking at ballistic software and understanding the effect of scope height you should buy a quality mount of the correct height for you and your gun but they give you a good point to start from, if you are unsure seek advice from your local club or gun shop.
J S Ramsbottoms were excellent, answered my queries and delivered in a couple of days oh and the price just over £40.
Very pleased and it's getting a lot of use.

Far too small and tight for a 10" scope.
Meant to be for scopes up to 10" long but I struggle to stretch it past 9" and at that all the stitching is pulled so it doesn't look like it will last very long, asked supplier 'a1decoy_uk' if I could return it which is a basic consumer right and they refused so not a great experience overall so wouldn't recommend 'a1decoy_uk'
I guess this item would be fine on a smaller scope, overall quality seems good just the sizing is an issue.
