Easy to use but sadly useless.
I bought this because I had a hard drive from a defunct desktop computer that had stuff on that I wanted to reclaim. Nothing urgent or important - just photographs mainly. I also wanted to use it as an external hard drive for backing up.
It all connected up and plugged in very easily and nicely so no problems there. Unfortunately, the hard drive stubbornly refused to spin up so it appears that it is actually dead. Not the fault of this product but it does mean that it is of no use to me. It's annoying that buying this item was the only way to find this out but that's life. Oh well. It was better value than any comparable item I could find so at least I didn't waste too much money!
