Payment policy
I prefer to use paypal when buying and selling. I look for paypal as a payment method on listings before bidding because it gives you a little piece of mind when bidding.
Delivery information
Every thing I post goes 1st class recorded delivery now. The reason,if you havent guessed, is recieving emails from buyers asking when I posted the item because they havent recieved it yet. Then when I tell them that I have proof of postage and not to worry a claim will be made the item arrives. How many times has that happened to you? quite a few times to me. Play fair please. If it genuinely has not turned up then we can claim. The reciept for postage has a tracking number so it can be traced.
Return policy
If it's brand new and it has a genuine fault then return it and I will happily refund you. Second hand items I will generaly not offer a return/refund because it is a used item. Where possible used items will be tested/inspected or checked as much as is possible to do so before listing and again before being posted.
Buying and selling
So far my ebay experience has generaly been a pleasant one. I've come accross some characters but problems have been resolved one way or another. I set myself limits when bidding. I dont bid just to win the auction. There will be another item of the same up for auction shortly. may even be cheaper!
When selling something I try to give an accurate a discription as possible but have found when you do some smart arse always finds fault. So from now on on my listings there will be a disclaimer as long as possible covering anything I can think of so by the time you've finished reading it the 7 day auction would have ended and you would have missed your chance to moan :)
Do you still remember your first auction win? the buzz from your first sale when somebody came in right at the last moment to win! exciting is'nt it?
APOLLOGIES
To anyone who feels affected or offended by what I've written on here. I've been honest with this as I think I, and indeed everyone, should be with the ebay world. My experiences on ebay have been a mix of pleasant and unpleasant dealings in both buying and selling. I dare say that it will never be otherwise because people are different and have different views and ideas. So please accept my apollogies. I dont wish to offend or upset anyone.
