I have been drawing and painting informally since childhood, and have just begun selling my art in the last year or so, first in galleries in the Russian River area, and now on eBay. I have the rough equivalent of a college minor in university art courses, but I am also largely self-taught. My artwork is often brightly-colored, whimsical, and rendered in an informal, folk-art style. My favorite subjects are nature, animals and birds, and the mystical and magical. So far, I have started with cats here on eBay, but I eventually hope to expand into the fantasy category (including fairies, mermaids, dragons and the like) and others as well! The media I am currently using for my ACEOs are watercolors and ink, but it is likely that I will expand into other media as well!
