Background - a little about me and my business I set my business designer_clothing_4_u up on ebay in Feb 2007. This was following a long period of illness from proper work, ebay seemed to fit in well with what I wanted to do. I needed the flexibility to work, then rest, then work, and when having a bad day, stay in bed until lunch (thank goodness for wireless access) - which with a regular job is impossible! So, I started selling second hand good quality clothing. Unfortunately my health has rapidly deteriorated again (nothing contagious I hasten to add!), so I had a re-think recently and decided to concentrate on lines of items, listing is simpler, one set of pictures, and easier to manage for me. Thankfully, I have the full support of my partner Chris, this ensures that even when I am under the weather, that designer_clothing_4_u is always available to you my customers. The best bit with the lines of items, is for you the customer I can get most things in most sizes!

Please ensure your payment reaches me in whatever form within 7 days from auction end. I accept and prefer paypal, I do not charge extra to use it. This gives you £500 paypal protection with me as a seller, as I am verified with eBay and Paypal. I can accept bank transfer and prefer it for international transactions please contact me at auction end for my sort code and account number. I accept payments by post from UK residents, by Cheque or Postal Order. If you send me postal order, please keep a record of the serial number of it. When paying by post please ensure you include the item number with payment. I can not accept Cash, Western Union or non sterling money orders, and any other currency than the UK £ Pound. UK P&P for first class recorded or special delivery is FREE P&P outside the UK is at cost --All items are sent signed for and insured - no exceptions-- Your purchase will be wrapped carefully in tissue paper, and sent securely through the post in recyclable materials where possible- we try to minimise our carbon footprint where possible! We have a full returns policy for a refund or exchange for any reason, including non-fit, or simply do not like! (less P&P paid - I consider it like a travelling expense to return something to the store) Of course if we have made a mistake with the listing, we refund in full. If your item does not arrive we refund you in full & we pursue the claim - but as everything is sent free of charge to you in the UK and also tracked and insured globally, this rarely happens!

DC4U accepts returns for any reason within 30 calendar days on fixed price items in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, which provides a ‘cooling off period’ allowing a consumer buying online from a business to cancel their order on fixed priced items only. In addition - we offer the same on auction items - after all eBay is an auction website! Notice of cancellation needs to be received in writing within 7 days. Items must be received back in the condition sent & sent by a fully insured traceable method within a further 23 days (total 30 days). Unless item is faulty/not as described the buyer is responsible for all return costs. You can return for any reason, spent too much, do not like the colour, its the wrong shade of pink - it doesnt matter - pop it back.

The code clearly states the standards expected of members in all dealings. We, as members of the trading group A.C.E.S, will always deal fairly and politely with any buyer. We will at all times honour ebay's rules that apply to selling and listing, and uphold the 'spirit' of the ebay community. We will always attempt to dispatch items within 72 hours of payment being received, and always by a safe, cost effective and appropriate method. In the event of an item being lost in transit, we will process claims as speedily as possible. We will accept returns of faulty, damaged or mis-described goods. I in addition will accept returns on items which you do not like, for a refund or an exchange (less P&P)
