I starting teaching in my popular art classes over 5 years ago. I have students of all ages from 5 years up to 88 years and from all over the world. Many of my students return again and again-2 of them now have their own websites selling their work. I teach both oil and acrylic class's sometimes both in the same class.The painting subjects and places left can be found on the website.I only have 6 people in a class to ensure plenty of individual attention. We have lots of lovely B+Bs to stay in nearby and also a Travel Lodge.

I have a lot of different styles of work and use several differnt mediums to create my art. I started off using oils and this really is my favorite medium.I also use acrylic paints for some of my work-my most popular being the Monochrome series I do featuring Birch Trees.I also work in an unusual medium called encaustic wax.Its coloured beeswax and you apply it to the background using a special electric iron.The results are always fantastic-I love using this method of painting.I have work on several websites including www.dianetheartist.com and www.affordablebritshart.co.uk I am always happy to paint commissions for people-in fact over half my workload is commissioned work.I love the challenge of turning someones ideas into reality.The results have always been beyond the persons expections (Im told!)
