I am D. Douglas Fratz, owner and operator of Quantum Science Fiction Books & Collectibles. I have been involved in the science fiction field for more than 40 years. In the 1960s and 1970s, I became involved in comic book fandom, editing and publishing numerous fanzines, including Comicology and CriFanAc. In the 1970s-1990s, I was publisherand editor of Thrust Science Fiction and Fantasy Review (later retitled Quantum Science Fiction and Fantasy Review), and was nominated five times for the Hugo Award. I have also been a professional literary critic and book reviewer, writing for Thrust, Quantum, Fantasy Review, Science Fiction Eye, The Washington Post, Science Fiction Age, and (currently) Science Fiction Weekly (the Sci-Fi Channel web magazine, now merged with SF Wire). I began Quantum Science Fiction Books & Collectibles as an eBay store in 2003.
