Songs such as 'We Found Love' are fantastic, and her existing hits are all great. I find this album a bit hit and miss, some songs I adore and others I hate. Still worth listening though!

If you haven't got this, your life is not yet complete.
Mylo Xyloto blows everything else of its kind out of the waters, into oblivion in fact. I’ve never really liked Coldplay if I’m quite honest but I heard ‘Paradise’ and couldn’t help wondering “Who an earth is this?!” knowing I’d heard the voice before but never like this. ‘Paradise’ is an anthem, a song born to be sung in a huge arena, echoed by the crowd and screamed by enthusiastic fans. There’s no doubt Coldplay have taken to their new style like a duck to water. Chris Martin’s voice complimenting the spiky electronica of ‘Hurts Like Heaven’ just as well as the slow, softness of ‘Up In Flames’ which is more like the old Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’ everyone knew and loved (except me). But actually I love ‘Up In Flames’ as it provides an interlude to the balls-y drum beats and synths. ‘Princess of China’ sees a collaberation with pop princess Rihanna, and I must say this is probably my favourite from the album, Rihanna adds a certain something that Chris Martin can’t achieve on his own. The female vocals add new depth and it just works. For an album I was extremely sceptical of, it’s turned into one of my favourites of all time, not just 2011. My advice? Turn it up as loud as you can and sing along at the top of your lungs.

It's average.
Not amazing, bit boring if you've already heard their later stuff I wouldn't recommend it! Songs are brash and predictable, not a great listen and I should have listened beforehand.
