20in Apple Imac 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a fabulous machine. I am inexperienced with macs having been a lifelong pc user. I do tend to use fairly high end pcs and laptops, as I run a fulfillment company and am on the internet most hours of the day - even when I'm out and about. I normally have 6 to 12 computers running. I bought this machine just so I can develop an awareness of what's out there and make a true comparison. I was only recently agreeing with another pc user how overpriced Macs are and how it's all down to marketing.
Then this arrived....... Just unpacking it was pure pleasure! Aesthetically the imac is hard to beat. I own HP touchsmarts which have all the latest gizmo's but this still feels special. Fabulous to use - I am very happy to use old-fashioned keyboard and mouse, and forego touchscreen gadgetry, because it is such a joy to use and work with. This model is just 1Gb SDRam with a 2.16GHz core2 duo processor but it brings up web pages instantly. I've had it less than a day and will be getting rid of it straightaway - I'm going to treat myself to the top of the range 27 inch Imac i7 quadcore!!
