This is SPARTA!!!
In short, I LOVED THIS FILM!
Gerard Butler is absolutely outstanding as the mighty and proud Lionidas, King of Sparta. With a gripping and compelling storyline backed up by fantastic effects, this film just blew me away.
I have watched it over and over again, and the fight scenes are so well choreographed, that you could actually envisage what it would have been like fighting with a shield and sword, in close-up mortal combat. A movie of epic proportions, and yet, moving and emotional at the same time.
