Proclaimers Revisited
In 1988 a work mate told me about the Proclaimers and that they had issued an album which he recommended. He taped it for me and it became one of my favorites. Eventually, with the introduction of CDs the tape became forgotten. Now I have bought the CD on Ebay it is on my playlist once more.
There are a nice mix of folk songs all with lyrics worth listening to. Some are tunes with a good beat like, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" and "Oh Jean", whereas others are soulful, ie., "My Old Friend The Blues" and "Teardrops".
I particularly enjoy the patriotic "Cap in Hand".
I recommend this album to all folk music fans.

Golden Oldie
This is an nostalgic album bringing back memories of my 1950's childhood, when this music was broadcast on the wireless (sorry radio)
It would make a welcome present fo some elderly relative.

Nice Easy Listening Album
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a good album for those people who like 60's and 70's music. Songs are duets with artists from that era and Cliff Richard is someone adept at blending his voice with others.
I now have two copies one for home, the other for the car stereo.
