Blake-Blake (2007)
Fellas's really should'nt be able to sing like this....... The whole CD gives the impression that the group never needs to move out of third gear, and always has plenty in reserve. Totally seamless changes of vocalist, mirrors the seamless & faultless changes of key. This album majors, as it should, on the strengths of the singers, as individuals and in harmony, with the musical accompaniment being of secondary importance, even though some very nice arranging of the instrumental score is obvious, and very pleasant. For a first and debut disc, what a stunner. Rarely have I heard such close & matched singing since the group 'Cantabile', who were very popular a number of years ago. A CD to sit, listen, and get lost in, nearly a religious experience.

Bend It Like Beckham (DVD 2002)
Bend It Like Beckham is an excellent film, and I particularly like the way the producers have taken two completely different cultures, and brought them both together using their common love of football. Two girls, from completely opposite backgrounds both want to play football, but families object to it. The comedy side of the film is amazing, especially the way Jesses mom obsesses over cooking Aloo Gobi, and how Jules's mom thinks her daughter is a lesbian! Another great moment in the film is when all the indian family meets for a religious occasion, and everybody's mobiles go off at the same time. I think the best part is the ending, when both families let their daughters fly off to America to play football, and I think it's lovely the awy Jules remains friends with Jess the whole way through the film, and the team support her, and try to help her fit football around her family life.

The Fron Male Voice Choir-Voices of the Valley(Encore)
This is a Welsh Male Voice Choir at its very best. This being the choirs second offering, their previous cd being called 'Voices of the Valley', which on its own merit made a impact, however the new offering puts their first in the shade. With a lovely mix of songs, from the traditional Welsh hymn tune, through to more modern favourites, all faultlessly preformed. There is something here for most tastes. The choir has the ability to produce sounds from light & mellow, through to the full bloodied, and stirring 'How great thou art' Musical accompaniment is used to support thr voices on show & is background, though extremely well utilised, adding to the overall pleasure of listening.
