We are the Friends of the Lexington Public Library. We love books, love working with them and enjoy passing our finds on to others. We are non-profit and our sales support all five branches of the Lexington Public Library in Lexington, Kentucky.

History/background
The Friends of the Lexington Public Library was formed in 1968 to provide financial and physical support to the library and to help the library become a lively center of community activity. In 1998, Friends Book Cellar, a used bookstore located in the lower level of the Central Library, was opened. The Friends Book Cellar eBay Store opened in October 2004.

Payment policy
We accept payment through Paypal. All items are also available for local pick up in our store located in the lower level of the Lexington Public Library, 140 E. Main St., Lexington, Kentucky 40507.

Delivery information
All shipping costs are paid by buyer. International shipping is available for most items we sell.

Once I saw the fol I knew as there are a few librarians in my family. What a wonderful job you are doing for your library. The library in my small town has done some wonderful fundraisers. Each year the baskets are a favorite-local businesses and even many fol folks fill a basket. It can be with a favorite book and goodies to go with it and place it in the raffle.
