eBay My World: gamesdruid( 4104)

I am in my 40's but 14 at heart. I have a serious occupation but gaming is my life. Married 20 plus years but still infatuated with the same girl.

If the price is right anything with the exception of my mother, wife and two kids.... the dog can go though .. only joking. I sell anything that interests me but I don't have the space to hang on to

Spectrum games, Spectrum games and Spectrum games. I also pick up the odd Terry Pratchett 1st edition and anything which I take a fancy to which is Tolkien related

Were do I start, Spectrum games, subbuteo sets, Scalextric cars, Lord of the Rings stuff, Nintendo games, Atari games, Warhammer games and of course Games Workshop Talisman but I have finished that collection

Buyers who claim they have not received their purchase, having posted over 6000 items in 5 years to distinations as far apart as Lapland to New Zealand and from Mexico to Japan there have only been around 10 which have gone missing and 5 of them were to Spain. Funny how those who claimed it was not received soon after were no longer ebay members or the fact that I intend to leave negative feedback to the effect that their address is insecure and all items should only via signed for (expensive) delivery does the package suddenly turn up

I do ebay for fun to help out friends, family and workmates but I try to present a professional level of service which I hope my feedback reflects

Paypal if you have to and can't wait but it rips off the sellers something rotten, postal orders but the Royal Mail rip of the buyer something rotten cheques no problem but the banks rip of both of us just as much :>),and finally cash sent at the sellers own risk I don't mind if the notes are not in mint condition merely legal (like the tyres on my Nissan Almera) will do

As a buyer I hate being ripped off for excessive postage and therefore don't do it as a seller. I am more than happy to combine items and pass on the savings even if it means that I have to wait a wee bit longer for payment to be made

Any issues I am sure we can sort out

Only through ebay. I prefer to keep things straight forward and honest

If you contact me asking me to end my auction early please be aware that I generally know the going rate for the item I am listing and won't end my auction early. If a ridiculously low offer is made I sometimes take humberage for being taken as a fool and block the person making the offer from bidding. There is nothing worst than trying to snipe only to find out that you have been blocked and it sells for under the price you had intended to offer. As most of the items I sell are owned by others I am generally not concerned for what price they sell for, if it is 99p fine. It is the attempt to rip me off the causes my annoyance
