A good guide with a few errors. Worth the money.
I am still working through this and so my opinion may well change but here it is so far:
The first section deals with the concepts of iPhone app programming as well as acquiring the essential elements.
The second section deals with the basics of X-Code.
The third deals with Cocoa.
This first section is interesting to a point and does give some clear information. The one issue I had was that, though it told you that you did not need to purchase a developer's licence immediately it did NOT indicate where you could skip to if you decided against this. Would have been helpful.
The second section is very easy to read but the very first piece of code was actually wrong; and not simply where they intended it to be. Since I have been a programmer for many, many, many years this was actually good fun since I had to use that understanding and common logic to solve this. However, as a guide this is a serious flaw and one that needs to be adjusted.
The next section seems very useful and informative.
All in all this has simplified the process so far and I have made far more progress in a few hours than I did wading through the developer's notes. I like the style and presentation and, despite the errors, find it incredibly useful.
Certainly the best of all the guides I have so far tried (this is the first I purchased; the others I looked at in the local library and in bookshops).

Excellent product. Easy to use and fast.
This is an excellent device! I purchased this to build apps for the iPhone and this is has proven itself to be more than adequate for the job. I now have a 2Tb external drive that holds all my photos, music and films and this system makes using these so much easier than I thought it would.
The learning curve for OSX is not as steep as I was concerned it would be (I have decades of experience of Windows with a little experience of Unix and Linux) whilst the tools are outstanding. Very impressed.
