I'm a keen traveller and collector of textiles, especially handcrafted embroidered textiles - cushions and throws. With this in mind, to share the passion I started my own company in May 2008 and began selling the cheaper items on ebay in Jan 2009.

The Blue Dog Cushion Company was formed in May 2008. The aim is to sell beautiful, unique, unusual and ethical products to people like me who have quite individual tastes and fancy something just a little bit different from the norm. We have an extensive range of beautiful and unusual throws from Morocco, India and Nepal, and cushion covers from India, Pakistan and Africa. Our rag dolls are all fair trade and hand crafted in Sri lanka. All of our gifts are fair trade, hand crafted and made in India. Everything is just a little bit different - not likely to be found on the High Street and guarantted to make you feel special!

Currently paypal, but from Novemeber 2009 you can pay over the phone by credit card too.

We charge P & P at cost - generally undercharging the postage and offering packaging as free. We know postage costs are expensive but we do not exploit our customers! Please note that as well as running the Company I also have a full time lecturing job so it is no easy task to get to a post office. My feedback testifies to the efforts I go to in order to turn the orders around in 24 hours. Please give us some credit when you leave feedback - it's really disheartening to pull out all the stops, undercharge on p & p and then still not receive good feeback for p & p! I don't charge for my time or my petrol or for queueing up at the PO for hours, as some ebay sellers do - so please be kind!

I'm happy to accept returns on items. Please notify me within 7 days of your intention to return. I would prefer people to return goods than not say anything and then leave poor feedback! Communication is everything, and I am only happy if you are happy!
