Roxy, yes this Eperon d'Or is genuine. It has been out in the rain and the colour from the border has bled into the white...that is the 'daubing' that you can see.

Hazelocks, Cerramique Ottomane is the nearest Hermes to Parrot Tulips that I can think of right now. There is a bright red Valentino tulip scarf that may suit at: http://www.designersilkscarf.com/id874.html

Hi it's me again Kiri (Roxy), I'm afraid, I was not able to complete my questions and was unfortunately sended to you without finishing it. I am so thankful that you reciprocated as fast as you can. Well, I just want to know if you can help me to authenticate what I bought which was a Hermes scarves 2 weeks ago by Ebay. The Article Number is 250523437801. It will be a great help for me if you can. Thanks a lot.

Uh-oh! I'm Hooked on Hermes! Many thx for your lively & interesting guides. I found them accidentally while doing a web search for the iconic scarves. I have just purchased my fourth scarf, and fortunately, all are genuine. The biggest takeaways for me were the heads-ups re: care labels; artist signature; and, generally, integration of "Hermes (C)" somewhere in the design. There are as many patterns and styles of Hermes scarves as there are people to collect, wear, and enjoy them. Some are definitely not for the faint of heart! My dream is to find a Hermes with a design of parrot tulips in fire colors. In the meantime, though, I have acquired "Le Coccinelles", by Karin Swildens; "Flacons", by Doblis; Les Fetes du Roi Soleil"(jacquard), by M. Ducrine (?), and "The Keys",in a gorgeous color story of dark red and orange (with 47 keys), just purchased but not yet yet received. I will add you to my seller's list to visit and drool over your offerings from time to time. Thx again!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write your guide about fake Hermes scarves. I found one at a thrift store today and though I had hit the jackpot! It's a FAKE. Thanks for helping me save my eBay reputation. --choozisuzi

Hi Geoff, Your guides are excellent and very informative. I found an Hermes "Festival" scarf in a bundle lot of unused linen tea towels and tablecloths at a threft store today. It has a beige/ivory colorway. I haven't seen that color yet in my research but everything else seems correct;the 3 line care label, the signatures, the hem, the sharpness of the colors. From your guides I do believe it is authentic. Yay!
