I'm Phil, owner of Gift Horse. We pride ourselves on good old-fashioned service to you, the customer. We are an independent business specialising in giftware for all occasions at the right price.

On our pages you will find an eclectic range of gifts for all ages and occasions. Our staple lines are photo frames and personalised gifts, but we also stock many other wonderful and interesting items like, Leonardo cat & dog figures, jewellery boxes, jewellery mannequins, trinket boxes, mini clocks, candles, nostalgic and wooden toys, soft toys and much much more. Gift Horse has been trading since 1999 when we had a base in the Lake District. We now operate only online.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (except Amex), Paypal and Postal Orders.

We will always try to be fair on postage - don't be ripped off by those charging more for second class mail!! If you are ordering more than one item please ask for a combined order and we will try our best to oblige. 9 times out of ten we will use Royal Mail to despatch your goods unless asked to use another service by yourselves. Exceptions to this rule will be heavier items, eg over 1.5kg which may be sent by Parcelforce or any other carrier. In these cases delivery may take up to three working days. We will do our utmost to despatch the same day if we receive cleared payment by 3pm Mon-Fri. Any exceptions to this rule will appear on our home page in the Ebay shop.

At Gift Horse we would like you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not happy with the item bought you may return it within seven days for a full refund providing the goods returned to us are in their original state and fit for re-sale. If your item is damaged in the post please inform us within three working days and please provide evidence for your claim, eg a photo of the package contents, as we will claim the damage from Royal Mail's insurance company. If your order exceeds £42 we recommend extra insurance, the cost of which will be borne by you. Please ask us for a quote. Please ask for proof of posting when returning items as we will not be responsible for items that are lost in the post. If your item is an unwanted gift we will consider taking the item back subject to a 20% charge and the item must be fit for re-sale and with its original box/packaging. In all instances, the buyer is responsible for return postage. Any queries, please email.
