He started a business to market this product and this developed and grew, finally becoming GMS (Recordings) Ltd in 1976, when his son took over the running of the business. We are fully licensed to dub (copy) music, through both PPL and MCPS (soon to trade as PRS for Music). The music is for rental to businesses for playing in their public areas, e.g. foyers, waiting areas, restaurants, bars, retail spaces etc. The licenses cover us for providing these copies on both CD-based and HardDisk systems, including delivery via the Internet.
