I am Mark, 68, originally from London, I now live in Greater Manchester.
After jobs in marketing and youth sports, for a while, I sold football/cricket memorabilia in an Ebay Shop and wrote a football/cricket memorabilia blog (GoalsandWickets).
I now work in publishing as a book editor.
Also, two years ago, in 2022, I wrote a book, now published, about my year back in 1992/93 when between jobs, I travelled around the world with the main aim of attending all four of the tennis Grand Slams.
The book will appeal to all those tennis and sports fans who loved tennis back in the late 80s and early 90s.
The memoir is part tennis book and part travelogue. It includes a lot about tennis but I have also slotted in various anecdotes from the trip experienced as I travelled.
It is called, 'In Pursuit of the Slam: My Year Travelling top Tennis's Top Four Tournaments'.
The book is available on all the usual websites, including here on Ebay where it is being sold by a number of sellers.
