Buying old Macs for outdated hardware - Audiowerk8 with Logic Pro 8 Works
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an old Mac but still very stable, I bought this Mac so I could use my old PCI Soundcard Audiowerk8 along with Logic Pro 8. Works well. The newer Macs couldnt support the old type PCI Cards. The Mac came with no OS but I was able to boot up in Firewire mode DTM and clone a system from my other Mac.
Fan a bit noisey cause of its age but runs very smooth.
Considering I bought one of these new back in 2002 and it cost me £1200 but now it only cost me £40 Bargain if you know how to install the OS yourself.
