Radio telecomms engineer in the Royal Air Force, left to go contracting, worked in Oman on radio equipment for Airworks, Came back to UK and worked on Narrowboats as a service engineer, then down the channel tunnel as a communications engineer. then to trident at Helensborough near glasgow testing & commissioning Engineer. Then went contracting with National Grid. designed the DC Power supply system for the Pendalino train used by Virgin, then went contracting in London on CCTV for London Underground.
