Business InformationHistory/background
Guy's Cliffe established over 50 years, firstly as a 17 bedroom hotel with bed, breakfast and evening meal (but famed for it's breakfasts), then converted to holiday flats and apartments during the mid 1970's. Situated in peaceful residential area, but very close to Preston Sands, historical Oldway Mansion home of Sir Isaac Singer (of Singer sewing machine fame), his son Paris and famous partner Isadora Duncan. The bay was also home to Agatha Christie and her historic home at Greenway House is now a National Trust property. Perhaps the old history of all - Kents Caverns where the nations earliest home was inhabited during the Ice Age.
