I try to be as honest as I can be, and give the same standard of service I hope to receive from others. All my items are from my own personal stuff - I don't sell things I wouldn't be happy to own myself! All items come from a smoke free home.

Mainly shoes, being a real shoe-a-holic (many designer) and clothes. When I go on a shopping spree, it's time to sell the old to make space for the new! I would never sell anything that is not useable. We have no cats/dogs or any 'roaming' animals, so all items sold are pet-hair free and will be sent in clean condition (clothes) or in 'as seen' (shoes) condition.

PAYPAL preferred. Will accept postal orders ONLY if contact is made BEFORE bidding -but no personal cheques - sadly, there are dishonest people out there and I have been badly bitten!

I may re-use packing (to help the environment) but where I don't, I charge approx £1.00 for packing and straight postage costs - I do NOT make any money from postage, but if I have to pay for parking (The local PO has starting charging!) I may pass some of this cost on-sorry!

Unless it's a very expensive item (notionally £100 or more), I can't do returns - again, due to bad experiences from less than honest people. This is why I encourage questions to be asked before bidding so we are clear on both sides what the item is, the terms of sale and so on! If you don't ask questions (and I have described honestly, albeit subjectively), please don't expect a refund. Refunds are ONLY given if I have seriously misrepresented an item, not if you haven't asked questions!!

As a buyer, please email me via the ebay mechanism - I aim to answer all queries within 24 hours max. If I am purchasing from you, I always contact you if there is a problem before leaving any feedback - as a seller I also expect the same. Rarely, thankfully, there are problems but I work on the basis of trust until proven otherwise! We are adults and should behave accordingly!

I use a 'small print' notice to ensure you and I are clear about what's on offer and the terms of sale.This also requires that if you have any specific questions, you must ask BEFORE bidding-that way there are no surprises for either of us. I want buyers to be satisfied with the purchase and will do my best to resolve any issues in a reasonable time. I also expect this same standard of honesty and respect from purchasers. That way, we are all happy and hopefully you will call again!

I leave feedback for purchasers after I know the item has been received. I hope buyers leave positive feedback for me. I also reply to feedback received to tell others whether my experience of a buyer/seller has been good. I only leave negative feedback where sellers are rude, irresponsible or in my view, dishonest - this is thankfully rare. I keep all my email communications with buyers/sellers in the event it is necessary to pursue an matter via appropriate mechanisms. This is for everyone's protection!
