In my dreams
Having recently returned to my preferred occupation as a professional knitter/crocheter after many years of being a Service Engineer I find I am loving it even more than I could have hoped. Apart from anything else life is so much more relaxed these days and I haven't particularly missed the money either.... odd that! I have been selling the finished items quite well too but not all on Ebay. Funny isn't it? When people see the end result of something they immediately want one, not that I object of course, I'm delighted to sell wherever and whenever I can but the best bit for me (apart from making it in the first place) is when you receive feedback or a comment from someone who really appreciates the work that goes into creating something a little different and a bit special. I have even made friends with some like minded folks on Ebay, which has taken me by complete surprise but it's absolutely brilliant. So all in all I think it's safe to say that 'Life is a Dream' and I'm loving it!
Business InformationHistory/background
So finally after hearing (and saying) for years that there has to be more to life, I discovered that yes, it's actually true...THERE IS MORE TO LIFE than the Rat Race. There is nothing nicer and more relaxing than sitting in a sunny garden full of flowers, scents and birds with a pair of knitting needles and a ball of wool, it makes me old heart sing....I know corny innit? But the end results can be found here on Ebay in both finished outfits and patterns BUT also on my website. www.twinkiedesignerbaby.com
Payment policy
As a rule I try to stick with Paypal particularly for purchasing as it's instant and so easy. When selling I prefer to offer alternative methods. At the end of the day if the item is paid for, does it really matter how the payment is made?? If you have a problem with any of the payment methods offered, please email me and we can work something out. Also... missed bid endings. Let me know if you missed the end of something as I'm more than happy to satisfy orders for both outfits and for patterns.
Delivery information
This is a subject I'm really sensitive about. I get really hot under the collar when sellers overcharge and on principal, regardless of how much I want something I avoid these sellers like the plague. A little research goes a long way when working out the postage and packing for items, not least when it comes to feedback. Therefore I offer free postage for all my patterns and finished outfits garments are weighed and calculated carefully to avoid overcharging. However, on the odd occasion postage has been cheaper than quoted and in these events the excess is ALWAYS REFUNDED
Return policy
Let's face it, sometimes photo's can be deceptive and I would hate for someone to buy an item they weren't completely happy with. If this were the case I will have fallen at the first hurdle so if when you receive your item and are not completely happy with it, please let me know as soon as possible. The full price paid for the item will be refunded excluding postage as soon as the item has been returned but it must be in the same condition it was sent out in. I hate leaving negative feedback so please don't put me in that position.
Contact information
My email address is 'twinkiedesignerknits@hotmail.com' for questions and enquiries and you can also contact me via the website using the online contact submission form if you happen to be wandering around in there. And of course you can send me a message on Ebay.
Quality Assurance
Having worked in an environment where BSI accreditation is paramount I have become accustomed to working within tight quality boundaries and this is reflected in my items up for sale. I never use sub-standard materials and all my work is finished to a high standard. Buttons and beads are firmly secured and toy stuffing, yarns and threads used are always BSI approved. Relevant British Standards are BS984, BS1425 and BS5852 all of which can be found on the internet.
